Exeter Class Visit Besson Street Community Garden

Exeter class had a wonderful opportunity to visit Besson Street Community Centre Garden in New Cross! We have been learning about SDG11: sustainable cities and communities as part of our Global Learning Week so wanted to explore more about how big cities are becoming more sustainable.

Once we arrived we were split into two groups. Whilst one group explored a whole range of objects made from recycled, repurposed and reused materials (including a photo frame made from Elephant dung!) the rest of us were getting creative with recycled materials making our very own 3D portraits!
