As part of Science week, Exeter class had an exhilarating workshop with a science expert to investigate states of matter and a plasma ball!
We began by finding out about electrons and neutrons and their role in the world. We found out that electrons are lazy and will always find the shortest route to the earth. Then, we began to investigate this by using a light bulb and the plasma ball to show how electrons pass through our bodies.
Next, we got a bit of a shock when our scientist put some slime onto the plasma ball – this time when we touched it we got a tiny shock!
Finally, we got to make our own slime to take home and carry out some more investigating by ourselves.
