Year 4 Visit the HMS Belfast

This week Year 4 visited the HMS Belfast as part of our WW2 topic on London’s River Thames.

After a safety talk from one of the officers, we got to explore around all areas of the naval ship, seeing where the crew would have slept, eaten their meals and their responsibilities. We were able to interact with some of the equipment and learn about daily life on board this amazing vessel. We learnt a lot about the part that this ship has played in different wars through the ages.

We really enjoyed our time aboard!
