This was an initiative lead by Supriya, one of our Year 3 pupils.
After visiting her local park it made her sad to see all of the litter scattered everywhere. She decided to do something about this and started by making posters to remind people to look after our environment. When she came to school on Monday, she decided to tell others at school all about it and got some friends to help her make other aware of the importance of looking after our environment.
Supriya lead an assembly and made posters that she placed on all our school bins to remind people to take responsibility and keep our environment safe and clean.
Article 24 (Health and health services):
Children have the right to good quality health care – the best health care possible – to safe drinking water, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help them stay healthy. Rich countries should help poorer countries achieve this.
