On Tuesday the 9th of October a group of KS2 pupils attended the Primary Penathlon Competition. There were so many activities to compete in! Some of our favourites included New Age Kurling, the Football Shoot-out and Athletics races. The games were helping us to develop sporting skills such as co-ordination and agility, and we had to do our very best to focus and persevere so that we could score as many points for our team as possible.
We met lots of children from other local primary schools, and were very pleased to come away with medals to take back to school and show our friends and family!
“I had a really good day! My favourite activity was the racing. The best race was one where we balanced the ball on the tennis racket, as I felt that I was good at that one” (Samuel Year 4)
