A big well done to the Year 6 Athletics team who came in 3rd place the the Lewisham Borough Quad Kids Athletics Finals. We we very proud to see they being awarded their bronze medals!
There were 20 schools battling it out for the title and a lot of talent on display. Every member of the team participated in 4 events – the 75 meter race, the 600m race, the vortex throw and the standing long jump. Teams earnt points for the times they ran and distances they threw, so determination and team effort played a big part in our their success.
We wish the best of luck to our Year 4 team who will be participating in the same competition this time next week!
