We began to harvest the fruits and vegetables from our garden today…by picking golden raspberries. We mixed the raspberries with strawberries, bananas and milk to make a delicious smoothie.
Thank you to all of our wonderful children and families who took part in today’s Sports Day. It was fantastic to see the childrens’ confidence, effort and collaboration in action. Well done Nursery!
What a great way to enjoy the Summer sun!
The children had so much fun on Mud Day. It was great to witness their resilience and ability to cope with a change of routine. Thank you parents and carers for supporting this fun day of learning.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful parents, carers and children who made the farm trip such a success. It was wonderful to see the children’s curiosity and confidence in action.
In preparation for Art Week, we began looking at Mark Hearld’s collage, St Paul’s Pigeons. We went on a walk down Rathfern Road and observed the pigeons we found on our way. We made tallies, drew pictures and talked about what we saw.
This week in Nursery, the morning group attended their first whole school assembly. The children really enjoyed singing and dancing to Shosholoza. We also celebrated Eid al-Fitr, and said farewell to our butterflies, releasing them into the garden.
