Ollie Owl (Reflection)
On Monday 18th January, at the start of Global Learning Week, York and Liverpool Class went to the Natural History Museum to support their learning on ‘Disasters’. Year 5 have been contemplating whether or not all natural disasters are as ‘natural’ as they seem and have been asking many questions about our impact on the world. We were lucky enough to have a workshop on tectonic plates and earthquakes which supported our science, geography and history curriculum. It was a fantastic addition to our topic and to our visit.
Our visit also helped us reflect on the concept of endangered species and the problems faced by our global society.
