Year 2 went back in time to 2 September 1666 in a theatre production of ‘The Great Fire of London.’ The children were greeted by Thomas Farriner and Samuel Pepys and embarked on a journey back in time to experience what life was like.
The Rainbow Theatre company helped the children to re-enact the night a tiny spark lit the dark in the bakery, on Pudding Lane.

The children had a range of props and lines to learn quickly as they applied their skills of focus, collaboration and effort to bring this historical event to life.
