This week at Gymnastics Club we focused on balance. We experimented balancing in different shapes on the mats, and then on a range of apparatus. When performing our favourite balances, we aimed to remember 3 key performance points…
- To hold our shape still for at least 3 seconds
- To extend limbs that aren’t being used to balance on
- To move into and out of our balance smoothly
