Victoria & Albert Food Exhibition
Cedar Class: Wednesday 16th October
Elder Class: Thursday 17th October
Year 6 will be visiting the exhibition: “FOOD: Bigger than the Plate” at The Victoria & Albert Museum. It is a multi-sensory exhibition that unwraps the global food chain. It asks the question, what can we eat to be more sustainable, ethical and delicious?
This exhibition explores some of the biggest issues we face globally – from climate change and sustainability to workers’ rights – stemming from the way we produce and consume food. We will be responding to this exhibition in our art lessons after half term.
Both classes will be having an early lunch in school at 11.30am on each day and we will leave school by 12.10pm. We will return to school at the later time of 4pm.
The cost of the exhibition will be £3 per child.
