Our visit from a Police Community Support Officer

During our visit from the Police Officer we learnt about road safety.

We learnt that we need to wait, look and listen before crossing the road.  We also learnt that we need to walk rather than running, so that we don’t fall over while crossing.  The children practised these skills through role-play.

During the visit, the Police Officer also chose a name for our new hamster!  All of the suggestions the children had written down were placed into her hat, and she selected the name Silver.

As you can see, the children had great fun wearing the hat too!
