A Chi Chi bud Oh! – A flock of birds
On Friday 20th March, our last day of school, the Choir and Year 4,5,6 sang ‘Chi chi Bud Oh’ – a traditional song, in Jamaican creole. This call and response song is about the birds of Jamaica, and uses their regional names. The children’s singing was accompanied by Pablo on drum kit, Eoghan on trumpet and Miss Sally playing the piano. Have a listen to the recording and see if you can sing along? At the end you can hear children suggesting names of some other birds they know. What birds do you know?
Enjoy!!!
