Covid-19
Given the current circumstances, and with most pupils now at home due to school closures, we will be using the school website to ensure that children are given the opportunity to continue learning remotely.
We will be uploading learning resources to the school website intermittently, covering all aspects of the national curriculum.
We would like to reassure you that, in spite of the school closures, we as a teaching team will try our very best to provide a broad and balanced curriculum for your children.Children will have brought home a home learning pack on 20th March 2020, containing books and hard copies of resources that they will be expected to complete to consolidate and deepen their understanding.Remote learning resources will be updated intermittently and are available under each year group icon below. These resources will be uploaded to the school website on an ongoing basis. We are using google classroom as our online learning platform. Children will each have login in details to access their classes.
Getting started
Completing and submitting learning
Weekend home learning assignments will be set weekly, on a Friday, and should be submitted by the deadline indicated.
During a bubble closure, you should check the platform daily to see if any new learning has been set for your child. Some pieces of learning will have a deadline for submission; children should be encouraged to complete the learning by the given dates.
We understand that parents and carers may be concerned about the amount of screen time children are being exposed to already. Assignments can be completed on paper and then a photo of the learning can be submitted on Google Classroom. For tips on how to manage screen time, tap here.
If you require further support, please contact your child’s class teacher in the first instance.
