Remote Learning Offer in the Event of School Closure
In the event of a future school closure, we will ensure that pupils can continue their learning remotely through our school website and online platforms.
Learning resources covering all aspects of the National Curriculum will be regularly uploaded to the school website, ensuring that children have access to a broad and balanced curriculum.
Children will also have access to Google Classroom, our online learning platform, where they can log in using their individual details to access class-specific lessons and activities. This platform was tried and tested during school closures due to COVID-19 and proved to be an effective tool in supporting remote learning.
We are committed to ensuring continuity in education and will continue to provide high-quality resources to consolidate and deepen pupils’ understanding.
Getting started
Completing and submitting learning
Weekend home learning assignments will be set weekly, on a Friday, and should be submitted by the deadline indicated.
We understand that parents and carers may be concerned about the amount of screen time children are being exposed to already. Assignments can be completed on paper and then a photo of the learning can be submitted on Google Classroom. For tips on how to manage screen time, tap here.
If you require further support, please contact your child’s class teacher in the first instance.
