Congratulation to our Year 5/6 Athletics Team champions!
We are extremely proud of our Year 5/6 Athletics team who competed amazingly against other local primary schools at Sydenham School. The children participated in a range of track and field events including Sprint Relays, Standing Long Jump and the Soft Javelin.
We were so impressed with the confidence and determination the children demonstrated in their events. They supported and cheered on one another throughout the event which created brilliant team moral. Our year 5 athletes held their own competing against Year 6 pupils from the other schools, what a wonderful achievement for them!
The team were thrilled when it was announced that Rathfern had come in 1st place! Well done to all the schools that took part and made the competition exciting.
