Wraparound
Wraparound provides a creative, stimulating and safe learning environment for all children, from Reception to Year 6.
All Wraparound staff work within the school in other roles too, so are familiar faces to children, which helps them feel safe, secure and stimulated.
Wraparound before school
Children are welcome to arrive at Wraparound from 7:45am until the school gates open at 8:45am. During this time, they are offered a selection of breakfast items including toast, cereal, milk, and juice. We are happy to cater for any specific dietary requirements—please let us know in advance.
A variety of activities and games are available to help children start their day in a calm and engaging way. For those who prefer a quieter start, a dedicated area is set aside for reading or completing learning tasks.
Wraparound after school
Children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are collected directly from their classrooms and escorted to the after-school Wraparound provision. Pupils in Years 3 to 6 make their way independently.
Our Wraparound Care offers a wide range of engaging activities and resources. Children can enjoy a variety of toys and games, take part in sports in the hall or playground, and explore creative pursuits such as art, crafts, and cookery, which are key features throughout the week. Pupils are also encouraged and supported to complete home learning tasks and spend time reading.
During the afternoon session, children are provided with healthy and nutritious snacks, in line with government food standards.
